The Holiday Market is returning to its original location at Mountain View City Hall Plaza in downtown Mountain View.
NO TICKETS NEEDED!
Every year, GISSV welcomes 15,000+ visitors from all over the San Francisco Bay Area to its cozy German Holiday Market in Mountain View.
The German Holiday Market recreates the jovial atmosphere of a traditional open-air, European winter market on Mountain View's City Hall Plaza. Shop for unique, handcrafted gifts from Germany and local artisans: Wood ornaments and nutcrackers from Germany, Lebkuchen (gingerbread), Stollen, chocolate, toys, ceramics, and knitwear. Taste traditional German sausages and pretzels and warm up with a mug of Glühwein (warm mulled wine), the hallmark of these winter markets. The German Holiday Market offers plenty of activities for the entire family, including live performances and arts and crafts.
We are pleased to announce admission to the event is free, there are no tickets and no vaccination record checks. Masks are encouraged but not required.
You are invited to step into Germany for a day, no passport needed. Come enjoy this seasonal celebration!
