About
- Welcome to GISSV
  The German International School of Silicon Valley is an independent, nonprofit preschool–grade 12 school with two locations in the San Francisco Bay Area.

Admissions
- Meeting Students’ Needs From Preschool Through High School
  GISSV welcomes students of all cultural and ethnic backgrounds. We serve students from two to eighteen years old.
- Enrollment
  The enrollment period begins during the months of January and February of each year for the upcoming school year. We also accept new students throughout the school year based on availability. Knowledge of the German language is required for all children who enroll after 1st grade (See also our German Fast Track Program).

San Francisco Summer Camp 2019

Explore nature in the Presidio in a special week of mixed-age German immersion.

Location: 4 Funston Ave, San Francisco, CA 94129

We will explore the beautiful surroundings of the Presidio while building projects, hiking, playing, and learning about the area.

Our mission is to discover different areas such as: Wood Line at Lovers Lane, trails at Inspiration Point, Land's End, other beaches, and other places. Complementing the outdoor activities, we will learn about the ocean and our environment. For example, how to keep them clean and sustainable, how to build sheds with nothing but wooden sticks and about the history of various places in the Presidio.

This camp was very successful over the last two years. The kids loved interacting and being outdoor explorers.

In addition, the camp will be a great opportunity to learn more, improve German skills and enjoy bonding across different grade levels. Camp is open to students from age 5-10.

Schedule, Tuition & Registration

This camp runs from June 24 through June 28 and is limited to twenty students.

Half Day Camp
8am - 2pm
Tuition: $390

Full Day Camp
8am - 5pm
Tuition: $500

Please note that a one-time non-refundable online convenience of of $20 will apply for each student.

Registration opens on Friday, March 1st at midnight.

Enrollment for Summer Camp is on a first come, first served basis. Registration will close on June 1st.
Once capacities for sessions are reached, we cannot guarantee desired schedules or camp availability.
Enrollment from waitlists when possible.
