Onur Cinar has 20+ years of engineering leadership experience working at high-tech companies in California, most notably in Google, Skype, Microsoft, and Samsung.
He has authored various technology books in the mobile application development space.
Onur got his middle and high school diploma from Lycée Français Saint Benoît, an international school in Istanbul, Turkey, providing bilingual education in French and Turkish, very similar to GISSV. For his undergraduate studies, Onur moved to the United States in 1998. Onur attended the Drexel University in Philadelphia, PA, and received a B.S. degree in Computer Science.
From a very early age, Onur has studied many languages (French, English, Turkish), lived in different countries with diverse cultures, and throughout his professional career experienced working in multinational corporations with teams spanning multiple continents. Onur is a firm believer of multicultural education, and he is highly enthusiastic about the educational vision represented by GISSV.
Onur has been a proud GISSV parent for the past 6 years. He has two children at GISSV in grade 2 and pre-school.
