GISSV's Model United Nations team attended the annual Santa Clara Valley Model United Nations Conference discussing current political issues.

Every year the German International School of Silicon Valley Model United Nations Team attends the annual Santa Clara Valley Model United Nations Conference, also known as SCVMUN, along with hundreds of other High School students from around the Bay Area. This year on January 26 and 27, 8 students continued the tradition for the 3rd year in a row and spent the weekend discussing current political issues such as the environmental implications of widespread poverty, establishing a legal framework for the use of military drones, and combating protectionism.
The GISSV Model United Nations Team would like to thank their advisor, Mr. Lentzen for continuously supporting their club and even coming out to help on the weekend.
