- Welcome to GISSV
  The German International School of Silicon Valley is an independent, nonprofit preschool–grade 12 school with two locations in the San Francisco Bay Area.

Admissions
- Meeting Students’ Needs From Preschool Through High School
  GISSV welcomes students of all cultural and ethnic backgrounds. We serve students from two to eighteen years old.
- Enrollment
  The enrollment period begins during the months of January and February of each year for the upcoming school year. We also accept new students throughout the school year based on availability. Knowledge of the German language is required for all children who enroll after 1st grade (See also our German Fast Track Program).

Digital Education Inspires German Delegation Visit

Organized by the Montag Stiftung a German delegation visited the GISSV Mountain View campus.

Before the break, our Mountain View campus had the honor of welcoming a special German delegation. Our former GISSV head of school Martin Fugmann lead the delegation with members of the Montag Stiftung Jugend und Gesellschaft, Education Innovation Lab, Evangelisch Stiftisches Gymnasium Gütersloh, Forum Bildung Digitalisierung and the Bertelsmann Stiftung. All organized by the Montag Stiftung the delegation traveled all over Silicon Valley for one week to learn more about digital education.

While at GISSV the delegation attended classes and had discussions with students as well as teachers especially about projects like eSchool21, Artificial Intelligence and GISSV Entrepreneurs.
