- Welcome to GISSV
  The German International School of Silicon Valley is an independent, nonprofit preschool–grade 12 school with two locations in the San Francisco Bay Area.

Admissions
- Meeting Students’ Needs From Preschool Through High School
  GISSV welcomes students of all cultural and ethnic backgrounds. We serve students from two to eighteen years old.
- Enrollment
  The enrollment period begins during the months of January and February of each year for the upcoming school year. We also accept new students throughout the school year based on availability. Knowledge of the German language is required for all children who enroll after 1st grade (See also our German Fast Track Program).

GISSV Alumna Excels as Student and Athlete

2012 GISSV alumna Julie Vass was named to the 2015 WCC Women's Soccer All-Academic Team.

Julie Vass, a graduate of the GISSV class of 2012, was recently one of the Santa Clara women's soccer players recognized by the West Coast Conference for their work in the classroom. She was named to the 2015 WCC Women's Soccer All-Academic Team.

"I'm very proud to have so many students recognized that exemplify the best of being a student and an athlete," said Santa Clara head coach Jerry Smith. "Ultimately we're trying to have a culture that allows student-athletes to excel in the classroom and on the field."

Vass, a 2014 WCC All-Academic honorable mention selection, has a 3.98 GPA as an Economics major. She leads Santa Clara with six goals, including five game-winners, and has added one assist for a team-best 13 points.
