- Welcome to GISSV
  The German International School of Silicon Valley is an independent, nonprofit preschool–grade 12 school with two locations in the San Francisco Bay Area.

Admissions
- Meeting Students’ Needs From Preschool Through High School
  GISSV welcomes students of all cultural and ethnic backgrounds. We serve students from two to eighteen years old.
- Enrollment
  The enrollment period begins during the months of January and February of each year for the upcoming school year. We also accept new students throughout the school year based on availability. Knowledge of the German language is required for all children who enroll after 1st grade (See also our German Fast Track Program).

GISSV Student Wins Invitational Youth Challenge Cup

Ninth grader and swimmer JoAnn Adler won the Invitational Youth Challenge Cup last weekend.

During the 3 day meet-up the participants competed in a prelim in the morning and the swimmers who had qualified had a constellation final and then a final swim for the evening.

JoAnn had qualified for all three of the finals and had to swim all of them (50m for the semi final.) Participants get 20 points for the 1st, 17 for the 2nd, 16 for the 3rd etc.

Congratulations to JoAnn who finished with the highest score of all swimmers with 142 points and won the Cup for the 13-14 age group!
