- Welcome to GISSV
  The German International School of Silicon Valley is an independent, nonprofit preschool–grade 12 school with two locations in the San Francisco Bay Area.

Admissions
- Meeting Students’ Needs From Preschool Through High School
  GISSV welcomes students of all cultural and ethnic backgrounds. We serve students from two to eighteen years old.
- Enrollment
  The enrollment period begins during the months of January and February of each year for the upcoming school year. We also accept new students throughout the school year based on availability. Knowledge of the German language is required for all children who enroll after 1st grade (See also our German Fast Track Program).

GISSV Students Gained Real-Life Work Experiences

Our Mountain View 10th graders spent an inspiring internship week in companies and offices around the Bay Area.

Last week was our annual internship week and our Mountain View 10th graders spent an inspiring five days in companies and offices around the Bay Area. Today they presented their experiences and learnings in a "job fair" at our campus. This year's students ventured out to explore fields like technology, auto engineering, architecture, media, advertisement, health care, child care and more. Our sincere thank you goes to all the companies who opened their doors for our students to give them the chance to gain insight into real-life work experiences.
