During our biennial "GISSV Goes Green" project days, students were deeply immersed in learning about our environment.
The GISSV Goes Green project days are a great way for our Mountain View and San Francisco students to learn more about environmental pollution, climate change and ways to protect our natural habitat. Especially the Eco Team worked hard to organize these days, since they work on environmental issues all year long.
Teachers have planned and organized many different projects for all our students from preschool through high school, which included working with renewable energy, learning how to properly recycle and reuse waste as well as creating an Eco song and a video.
Besides going on field trips, many experts were invited to our campuses. Even a bee colony, including a queen, visited!
