Our 6th graders impressed with creativity and passion in the 'Vorlesewettbewerb'—congratulations to all.
We’re excited to celebrate the outstanding achievements of our talented 6th graders from both campuses who participated in this year's German reading competition! Huge congratulations to our winners:
🏆 1st Place: Emma
🥈 2nd Place: Aino
🥉 3rd Place: Sayumi
🎖️ 4th Place: Addie, Isabella, Noemie
Today’s showcase of creativity and emotion in the finals culminated the wonderful stories shared during previous class competitions. We heard funny, sad, exciting, and thought-provoking stories, with each student impressing us through their choice of text and remarkable reading techniques. We are immensely proud of all our students for their dedication to promoting the joy of reading!
The jury had a challenging decision, but our Head of School, Dr. Alexandra Blank, Head of the DaF Department, Felicitas Weidlich, and Student Body President, Hassan, came together to decide that Emma will represent our school in the next round of the German reading competition.
A heartfelt shout-out to all our 6th graders: Keep reading! Your passion and dedication inspire us all!
