Author Christoph Drösser Visits GISSV

Students at both campuses enjoyed an engaging reading and discussion with author and journalist Christoph Drösser, who presented his new children's non-fiction book "100 Kinder in Deutschland."

Students at GISSV had the opportunity to meet author and journalist Christoph Drösser during special events held this week at both campuses—yesterday in Mountain View and today in San Francisco.

Drösser presented his new children's non-fiction book 100 Kinder in Deutschland (100 Children in Germany), which explores the social diversity of Germany through the stories and experiences of 100 children. Written in a child-friendly and accessible way, the book encourages young readers to reflect on different life situations and engage in conversations about social challenges and opportunities.

The publication is the follow-up to Drösser's award-winning book 100 Kinder, which has been widely praised for helping young audiences better understand the world around them.

As always, Christoph Drösser connected effortlessly with our students through his engaging, relatable, and humorous style. The reading sparked curiosity and thoughtful discussions, and interest in the book continued long after the event ended—copies of the book circulated throughout the SF Middle School for the rest of the day.

We thank Christoph Drösser for visiting GISSV and for inspiring our students to explore diverse perspectives and experiences through literature.
