A Musical Celebration to Close the School Year

A Musical Celebration to Close the School Year

Students in Mountain View and San Francisco showcased their musical achievements during two inspiring Year End Concerts that celebrated a year of learning, creativity, and collaboration.

The final weeks of the school year were filled with music as students from our Mountain View and San Francisco campuses presented their Year End Concerts to family members, friends, and fellow students.

The Mountain View concert brought together students from several grade levels, including string classes, orchestras, chamber musicians, and the elementary choir. A special highlight was the participation of the Grade 2 violinists, who proudly showcased what they learned during their very first year of instrumental instruction. Together, the students presented a wide-ranging program featuring classical works by Purcell, Rossini, Mozart, Haydn, and Beethoven, as well as traditional folk songs and popular favorites such as Pirates of the Caribbean, Be Our Guest, and Über den Wolken. The concert concluded with a joyful singalong of Auf uns, celebrating the accomplishments and community spirit of the school year.

A few days later, the San Francisco Upper School Ensemble Concert brought together orchestra and choir students from multiple grade levels for a lunchtime performance at St. Matthew’s Lutheran Church. Their varied program showcased both individual growth and the collaborative spirit that develops through making music together.

Both concerts provided students with an opportunity to share their talents and demonstrate the progress they have made throughout the year. From beginning musicians performing on stage for the first time to experienced ensemble members tackling challenging repertoire, the performances reflected months of dedication, practice, and teamwork.

Congratulations to all performers, and thank you to our music teachers, staff, and families whose support helped make these concerts such a wonderful success.
