AbraPalabra Competition and Book

GISSV fourth graders took (successfully!) part in the 16th story competition "AbraPalabra" presented by the KinderAtelier of the Frauenmuseum, Bonn/Germany.

Stories from all over the world have been submitted on the topic of Beethoven's „Wenn ich ein Vöglein wär‘...“ (If I were a little bird...).

Congratulations to Pascal and Alexander (class 4b, homeroom teacher: Susannah Jackson)! Their wonderful story "Dodos Flugmaschine" (Dodo's Flying Machine) won in the category "funny-surprising".

The winners as well as the new AbraPalabra book will be presented on February 14 at a "Prämierenfeier" (Award and Release Party) in Bonn. Therefore the students together with Alissa Roedig filmed this short video with a reading of their story:

The new AbraPalabra Book including "Dodos Flugmaschine" will be available in our school library soon.
