Book Reading: A History of the Color Blue

Book Reading: A History of the Color Blue

Last week we had the pleasure of welcoming writer and poet Nana Ekua Brew-Hammond at our San Francisco Campus.

She read her book “Blue: A history of the color blue as deep as the sea and as wide as the sky” to students from Kindergarten and Elementary School.

"It was a wonderful event and so inspiring. The children were very involved and curious - and the author incorporated their questions so well by telling the story of the color blue." said 1st grade teacher Barbara Troy.

Thank you to parent Mamata Kene for initiating the reading and organizing it together with teacher Barbara Troy!
