Award-winning author Christoph Drösser visited our campuses to talk about his new book and engage students in a conversation about the world of tomorrow.
What will everyday life look like for children in 10, 20, or 50 years? Will they go to school in space? Learn from AI teachers? Travel in flying cars? These were some of the thought-provoking questions students in grades 3–6 explored during a recent author visit with Christoph Drösser.
Drösser, winner of the German Children’s Book Prize, visited the GISSV San Francisco campus last week and the Mountain View campus today to talk about his new nonfiction book Einmal Zukunft und zurück (Once Future and Back). The book presents imaginative yet research-based scenarios for what the future might hold—from how children will play and learn to how they might move through the world.
Instead of reading from the book, Drösser led an engaging discussion and encouraged students to reflect on and share their own visions of the future. The interactive sessions sparked creativity, curiosity, and thoughtful conversation.
We thank Christoph Drösser for inspiring our students!
