About
- Welcome to GISSV
  The German International School of Silicon Valley is an independent, nonprofit preschool–grade 12 school with two locations in the San Francisco Bay Area.
- Learning in German and English
  Our high-quality dual-immersion education helps students reach their full potential in a stimulating environment that fosters critical and imaginative thinking, a passion for lifelong learning and an appreciation for cultural diversity.
Admissions
- Meeting Students’ Needs From Preschool Through High School
  GISSV welcomes students of all cultural and ethnic backgrounds. We serve students from two to eighteen years old.
- Enrollment
  The enrollment period begins during the months of January and February of each year for the upcoming school year. We also accept new students throughout the school year based on availability. Knowledge of the German language is required for all children who enroll after 1st grade (See also our German Fast Track Program).

Community Fest Brings GISSV Together

Families, teachers, staff, and alumni families from both GISSV campuses came together at Coyote Ranch for a day filled with fun, connection, and community.

Last Saturday, the GISSV community came together at Coyote Ranch for Community Fest—a special day bringing families, teachers, staff, and alumni families from both campuses together to celebrate our community.

The day offered something for everyone, with delicious food and drinks, games, live music, a Silent Auction, a silent disco, photo booth, giant slide, and more. Younger guests enjoyed plenty of activities of their own, including a bounce house, petting zoo, train, Shpero balls, and other attractions.

A special highlight was the GISSV Teacher Band, who brought live music and even more energy to the celebration.

Community Fest was a wonderful opportunity for members of our community to connect outside the classroom, meet families from across our campuses, and enjoy time together. We are deeply thankful to everyone who joined us and to all those who helped make the day such a joyful celebration of GISSV.
