Congratulations Class of 2023!

Congratulations Class of 2023!

Congratulations to our graduates for navigating the challenges of the past school years and for their accomplishments!

After undertaking three days of oral exams at the end of May, preceded by written exams earlier this year, our thirteen exceptional graduates were awarded their dual high school degree on Saturday, May 20. This dual degree, which comprises the German International Abitur (DIA) and the American High School Diploma, is a unique feature of GISSV. It provides our graduates with the opportunity to seek admission to universities in the United States, Germany, and other European countries.

The graduation ceremony, held at the Residence of Consul General Oliver Schramm, and the "Abiturball" at the Saratoga Country Club in the evening, were both splendid events that honored and celebrated the GISSV Class of 2023. We would like to express our heartfelt gratitude to the German Consulate General San Francisco, Consul General Oliver Schramm, and his family for graciously hosting our graduation ceremony for the GISSV Class of 2023.

Once again, we wholeheartedly congratulate our graduates for this remarkable achievement and extend our sincerest wishes for a prosperous and fulfilling future. We eagerly anticipate keeping in touch and hearing about your exciting adventures.

On Thursday, June 1, the graduates bid their farewell to the school community with a surprise senior prank ("Abistreich"), which included a playful "makeover" of the Mountain View Campus and engaging games for teachers and students.

Please enjoy the photos from all three events below. To our graduates, we congratulate you once again and send our very best wishes for your future endeavors. We hope to hear from you frequently.
