To embrace the beauty of Dia de los Muertos, our San Francisco school community came together on November 1 to celebrate this vibrant Mexican tradition.
Colorfully decorated altars graced our campus, honoring the memory of our dearly departed on our campus.
In a warm and age-appropriate manner, our dedicated teachers explained the importance and meaning behind this unique holiday. Students immersed themselves in the culture and traditions in Spanish class, gaining a deeper understanding of the rich history behind Dia de los Muertos.
Students also enjoyed hands-on arts and crafts activities, allowing them to express themselves creatively while learning about this unique cultural celebration. It was a meaningful and educational experience for all.
