Organized by SV and parents, our school community - especially families from Kibili & elementary school - celebrated Diwali.

This Diwali, in the true spirit of light, the SF campus celebrated with food and fun on Friday, October 28. Led by teacher Mrs Tina Huhnke, and initiated by SV SF President Amelie S.-N., the event was planned and executed with parents and teachers.
Fifteen volunteers helped keep the activity-filled morning going. The morning started with elementary students, preschool, and parents gathering in the yard followed by students breaking out into various activity rooms - for Diwali-themed book reading, dress up, henna tattoos - both fresh and stickers, diya painting, rangoli - both coloring and creating in the yard. The morning's activities culminated in an energetic dance session to Bollywood hits, chai, samosas, and other delectables prepared by the parents! Interim HoS, Thomas Spahn joined in the festivities as well.
A heartfelt thank you to the parents and teachers who volunteered!
