Double Success at Jugend forscht Regional Competition

Two Grade 10 students achieved an exceptional double win at the Jugend forscht regional competition in Augsburg and have now qualified for the state competition.

Congratulations to siblings Viyona and Aarav (Grade 10) on an outstanding performance at the Jugend forscht and Jugend forscht Junior competition.

At the regional competition (Regionalwettbewerb), they earned 1st place in Mathematics/Computer Science in the Junior category (up to age 14). Their biology project impressed the jury so much that it was elevated to the Senior category (up to age 21)—where they also secured 1st place.

With these results, they have qualified for the state competition (Landesentscheid), the next stage in the Jugend forscht program.

Special thanks go to Sabine Hollatz for mentoring the biology/biochemistry project and to Sebastian Berk for guiding the computer science project.
