At GISSV, we were proud to host a festive ceremony where over 200 students from the Bay Area were awarded the prestigious Deutsches Sprachdiplom (DSD), a German language diploma recognized globally. In total, 150 students earned the DSD Level I, while 70 students achieved the more challenging DSD Level II, which provides access to all German universities. The event featured musical performances by GISSV students and a keynote speech by Gabriele Maiss-Minkler, ZfA advisor, who presented the diplomas and highlighted the significance of this high-caliber German language certification for students abroad.
