- Welcome to GISSV
  The German International School of Silicon Valley is an independent, nonprofit preschool–grade 12 school with two locations in the San Francisco Bay Area.

Admissions
- Meeting Students’ Needs From Preschool Through High School
  GISSV welcomes students of all cultural and ethnic backgrounds. We serve students from two to eighteen years old.
- Enrollment
  The enrollment period begins during the months of January and February of each year for the upcoming school year. We also accept new students throughout the school year based on availability. Knowledge of the German language is required for all children who enroll after 1st grade (See also our German Fast Track Program).

Entrepreneur Club Attended German Startup Night

The students attend the German Startup Night 2023, a pitch and networking event celebrating German startups.

Last night, members of our school's Entrepreneur Club had the opportunity to attend German Startup Night, a pitch and networking event celebrating companies participating in the German Accelerator programs. We were impressed by the variety of startup ideas presented and pleased to see a strong representation of female founders. We were also pleased to see that Holger Ippach, board member and GISSV father, received a price for the best mentor of the quarter.

The presentations were truly inspiring, showcasing the innovative and ambitious ideas that are coming out of Germany's startup scene. It helped our students to learn from experienced entrepreneurs how to pitch their ideas.

After the pitches, we had the opportunity to talk to over 25 founders of top-notch startups and their mentors.
