Feel the warmth of the holiday season as our talented students fill the community with joy through their inspiring performances!
GISSV Students Shine in Festive Performances
Our students have been bringing festive joy to the community with their musical talents. Last week, the GISSV Orchestra and Choir performed at the Caltrain Holiday Train stop in Mountain View. This cherished annual tradition supports local charities and delights families with music and holiday spirit. Our students provided a beautiful preview of their upcoming performances, impressing everyone with their dedication and enthusiasm.
On Monday evening, the Middle School Orchestra had the honor of opening the City of Mountain View’s Community Tree Lighting Ceremony. The event, a beloved kickoff to the holiday season, featured Santa lighting the holiday lights, followed by a magical performance from our students that added to the festive atmosphere.
Join GISSV at the German Holiday Market
Looking ahead, our students will bring more holiday cheer at our German Holiday Market (Weihnachtsmarkt) on Saturday, December 14, at Mountain View City Hall Plaza. This festive market, inspired by German traditions, will feature delicious treats, crafts, and live music. Special thanks to Marie-Louise Catsalis and our dedicated music teachers for guiding and supporting our students in creating these memorable experiences.
