About
- Welcome to GISSV
  The German International School of Silicon Valley is an independent, nonprofit preschool–grade 12 school with two locations in the San Francisco Bay Area.

Admissions
- Meeting Students’ Needs From Preschool Through High School
  GISSV welcomes students of all cultural and ethnic backgrounds. We serve students from two to eighteen years old.
- Enrollment
  The enrollment period begins during the months of January and February of each year for the upcoming school year. We also accept new students throughout the school year based on availability. Knowledge of the German language is required for all children who enroll after 1st grade (See also our German Fast Track Program).

First Day '24 with Middle & High School Day and More

Our teachers prepared special activities for their students to welcome them in the new classroom or in general to school.

At the end of last week, we kicked off the new school year with excitement, fun, and maybe a hint of nervousness! Our fantastic teachers warmly welcomed both returning and new students with engaging activities to help them settle in, make new friends, and get to know the GISSV community.

Our amazing secondary students started the year with a bang during Middle School and High School Day, bonding over exciting activities.

From our curious preschoolers to our determined high school seniors, we wish everyone a fantastic first week and a successful school year!
