Our teachers prepared special activities for their students to welcome them in the new classroom or in general to school
Welcome (back) to school, everyone! Wednesday was the first day of school for (most of) our students - and it was a blast, filled with excitement, fun, and maybe just a hint of nervousness. Our fantastic teachers kicked off the school year with a warm welcome and engaging activities tailored for each classroom. These activities aimed to help our students settle into their new routines, make new friends, and become familiar with both their classmates and the GISSV community.
Not only did our Kindergarten and 1st-grade students commence with special ceremonies, but our remarkable secondary school students also kicked off the year with a resounding success! During Middle School and High School Day, our older students bonded over exciting activities:
- Our high schoolers informed each other on what to expect during the year and enjoyed a pizza picnic party in Whisman Park as a rewarding lunch break.
- And our middle school students had fun with engaging STEM challenges on our campuses in Mountain View and San Francisco.
From our curious preschoolers to our determined high school seniors, we're sending out our best wishes for a fantastic first week and an incredibly successful school year!
