About
- Welcome to GISSV
  The German International School of Silicon Valley is an independent, nonprofit preschool–grade 12 school with two locations in the San Francisco Bay Area.

Admissions
- Meeting Students’ Needs From Preschool Through High School
  GISSV welcomes students of all cultural and ethnic backgrounds. We serve students from two to eighteen years old.
- Enrollment
  The enrollment period begins during the months of January and February of each year for the upcoming school year. We also accept new students throughout the school year based on availability. Knowledge of the German language is required for all children who enroll after 1st grade (See also our German Fast Track Program).

Our First Quakes German Night

GISSV families enjoyed an exciting day at the SJ Earthquakes game, including a special pre-game field experience.

On Saturday, GISSV families from both our Mountain View and San Francisco campuses, along with friends from the Bay Area community, had an amazing time supporting the San Jose Earthquakes as they faced St. Louis. While the Quakes fought hard but fell 1:2, the energy in the stadium was unforgettable! Some of our families even had the incredible opportunity to step onto the field pre-game, proudly holding the team banner. Though the goals came from German players on the opposing team, we were there in full force cheering on our Quakes. A fantastic day of soccer and community spirit!
