- Welcome to GISSV
  The German International School of Silicon Valley is an independent, nonprofit preschool–grade 12 school with two locations in the San Francisco Bay Area.

Admissions
- Meeting Students’ Needs From Preschool Through High School
  GISSV welcomes students of all cultural and ethnic backgrounds. We serve students from two to eighteen years old.
- Enrollment
  The enrollment period begins during the months of January and February of each year for the upcoming school year. We also accept new students throughout the school year based on availability. Knowledge of the German language is required for all children who enroll after 1st grade (See also our German Fast Track Program).

German Consul General Visits GISSV Mountain View

Newly appointed German Consul General Theo Kidess visited our Mountain View campus to learn more about GISSV and meet with students from both campuses.

We were delighted to welcome German Consul General Theo Kidess to GISSV!

Having joined the German Consulate General in San Francisco this August, Consul General Kidess visited our Mountain View campus for the first time to learn more about our school and experience our vibrant international community firsthand.

During his visit, he met with students from both the Mountain View and San Francisco campuses, who had the opportunity to ask questions and gain insights into his work and experiences. We truly appreciate the time he took to engage with our students and reaffirm the Consulate’s continued support for GISSV.
