- Welcome to GISSV
  The German International School of Silicon Valley is an independent, nonprofit preschool–grade 12 school with two locations in the San Francisco Bay Area.

Admissions
- Meeting Students’ Needs From Preschool Through High School
  GISSV welcomes students of all cultural and ethnic backgrounds. We serve students from two to eighteen years old.
- Enrollment
  The enrollment period begins during the months of January and February of each year for the upcoming school year. We also accept new students throughout the school year based on availability. Knowledge of the German language is required for all children who enroll after 1st grade (See also our German Fast Track Program).

GISSV Alumnus visits BeSO Class

Last week in our BeSO (Career and Study Orientation) class, we had the pleasure of welcoming GISSV alumnus Kai Bajka (class of 2016).

We had an insightful and open conversation about his journey from Zurich to Mexico and to GISSV in the Silicon Valley. Kai also shared about his switch from studying Business Administration to Law and his experience starting two companies - Other-Side Oasis GmbH and Vikarus GmbH, with its shop opening soon.

It's truly inspiring to see the progress Kai has made, now as a founding member and managing partner of his own venture and CEO of Vikarus GmbH. Thank you, Kai, for sharing your valuable insights and reminding us that with hard work and determination, we can achieve our goals (even without top grades).
