GISSV Students opened Kevin Chaplin's talk at Stanford, honoring GISSV’s support for the Amy Foundation.
On Tuesday, students from grade 7&8 SF and 6-10 MV formed the GISSV Chamber Ensemble and were invited to play for the opening of the talk by Kevin Chaplin, CEO of the Amy Foundation, titled 'Ubuntu, Forgiveness and The Amy Foundation.' Kevin thanked GISSV for our long-standing support through donations from our Students on Stage ice-cream socials, which contribute to the Foundation’s incredible work in the townships. Our students enjoyed touring the student residence, dining in the hall, and performing alongside Talisman, Stanford's a cappella group, who have also partnered with the Foundation in the past.
Enjoy highlights from the performance!
