- Welcome to GISSV
  The German International School of Silicon Valley is an independent, nonprofit preschool–grade 12 school with two locations in the San Francisco Bay Area.

Admissions
- Meeting Students’ Needs From Preschool Through High School
  GISSV welcomes students of all cultural and ethnic backgrounds. We serve students from two to eighteen years old.
- Enrollment
  The enrollment period begins during the months of January and February of each year for the upcoming school year. We also accept new students throughout the school year based on availability. Knowledge of the German language is required for all children who enroll after 1st grade (See also our German Fast Track Program).

GISSV Job Shadowing Fair 2022

Students of our junior class present their job shadowing experiences from April 2022 to students, teachers, and parents during a Job Shadowing Fair.

It was a very successful event in our Mountain View multipurpose room today! Students from the current grades 9 and 10, teachers as well as 11th grade parents and internship mentors joined the fair in the multipurpose room (MPR) on the Mountain View Campus. The guests learned about the internships/shadowing week that took place in person or remote in the Bay Area or even in Germany in Spring, when the juniors got the opportunity to gain experiences in their field of interest - in universities, hospitals, start-ups, courts, ... you name it.
