GISSV Spirit at the San Francisco St. Patrick’s Day Parade

GISSV Spirit at the San Francisco St. Patrick’s Day Parade

GISSV families and staff returned to the streets of San Francisco, celebrating St. Patrick’s Day with clover signs, student performances, candy, and festive flair.

Last Saturday, GISSV proudly participated in the San Francisco St. Patrick’s Day Parade, marking our second appearance after a few years away. Families, students, and teachers joined together to celebrate this lively tradition and share our school spirit with the community.

Our talented SF students designed large clover signs, which were proudly carried by families and staff along the parade route. The festivities included a student dance performance, while other children spread smiles by handing out candy to parade-goers. Adding an extra touch of fun, two colorful VW buses contributed a playful splash of green to the event.

A special thank-you goes to our Vice Principal (San Francisco Campus) Stefanie Wenk for organizing this exciting day. It was wonderful to see our GISSV community come together, celebrate creativity, and participate in a beloved San Francisco tradition.
