Five 8th-grade students from Mrs. Schapeler’s French class competed in the AATF poetry competition, with one student winning first place in their category.
Five students from Mrs. Schapeler’s 8th-grade French class at our Mountain View campus recently participated in the poetry competition organized by the American Association of Teachers of French (AATF), competing against students from schools across California. The event highlighted the beauty of the French language through poetry recitation.
A standout achievement came from Viyona, who won first place in her category with her recitation of November by Michelle Ruiz. Her expressive performance impressed the judges and demonstrated her strong command of the language.
Congratulations to all our students for their dedication and enthusiasm in embracing French poetry! Félicitations!
