GISSV Students Visit Kiel Through Exchange Program

GISSV Students Visit Kiel Through Exchange Program

9th and 10th grade students experienced everyday school life in Germany, explored Kiel and Berlin, and strengthened international friendships through GISSV’s exchange program.

Our 9th and 10th grade students recently visited Kiel as part of GISSV’s long-standing exchange program with Max-Planck-Schule Kiel. The exchange provided students with the opportunity to experience everyday school life in Germany, immerse themselves in local culture, and build meaningful international friendships.

During their stay, students attended classes, lived with host families, and explored Kiel, the surrounding region, and Berlin. These firsthand experiences offered valuable insights into German culture, history, and daily life while strengthening connections with their exchange partners.

A special highlight was a meeting with Kiel’s Stadtpräsidentin, Bettina Aust. Together with students from Max-Planck-Schule Kiel, our students discussed life in their respective cities, public transportation, and ideas for the future—an inspiring example of international exchange in action.

We sincerely thank our partners at Max-Planck-Schule Kiel and all host families for their warm hospitality and continued support of this enriching exchange program. We look forward to continuing this valued partnership in the years to come.
