- Welcome to GISSV
  The German International School of Silicon Valley is an independent, nonprofit preschool–grade 12 school with two locations in the San Francisco Bay Area.

Admissions
- Meeting Students’ Needs From Preschool Through High School
  GISSV welcomes students of all cultural and ethnic backgrounds. We serve students from two to eighteen years old.
- Enrollment
  The enrollment period begins during the months of January and February of each year for the upcoming school year. We also accept new students throughout the school year based on availability. Knowledge of the German language is required for all children who enroll after 1st grade (See also our German Fast Track Program).

Golden State Valkyries Game Night

GISSV families enjoyed an exciting WNBA game night at Chase Center, highlighted by a Valkyries home opener win.

Last Sunday, the GISSV community enjoyed another exciting evening together at Chase Center in San Francisco, joining a group outing organized by the SF PAs to cheer on the Golden State Valkyries as they hosted the Phoenix Mercury.

With around 120 community members in attendance, the arena was full of energy from start to finish. The game delivered an exciting atmosphere—and an even better result—as the Valkyries secured a strong 95–79 win in their home opener.

A big thank you to the SF PAs for organizing this successful community event, and to everyone who joined and helped make the evening so special.
