- Welcome to GISSV
  The German International School of Silicon Valley is an independent, nonprofit preschool–grade 12 school with two locations in the San Francisco Bay Area.

Admissions
- Meeting Students’ Needs From Preschool Through High School
  GISSV welcomes students of all cultural and ethnic backgrounds. We serve students from two to eighteen years old.
- Enrollment
  The enrollment period begins during the months of January and February of each year for the upcoming school year. We also accept new students throughout the school year based on availability. Knowledge of the German language is required for all children who enroll after 1st grade (See also our German Fast Track Program).

Grade 10 Students Kick Off AI Week

GISSV’s Grade 10 students explored Bay Area startup culture and real-world AI applications during a visit to the House of AI in San Francisco.

Our Grade 10 students began GISSV’s AI Week with an inspiring visit to the House of AI in San Francisco. Hosted by GISSV parent Christian Byza, the students gained hands-on insights into how AI is developed and applied in real-world startup environments.

AI Week has been an initiative at GISSV since 2018, connecting classroom learning with innovative technologies and emerging industry trends.

A special thank you to Christian Byza (@learndotxyz) for welcoming our students and sharing his expertise. The week officially begins next week, and we look forward to an exciting lineup of activities and learning opportunities.
