Guest Students from Kiel Exploring the Bay Area

After an incredible two-week visit, our guest students from Kiel have returned home. Schön, dass ihr da wart!

During their stay, they explored San Francisco and the North Bay with our GISSV 10th grade students. In San Francisco, they embarked on an exciting walking tour through the city, culminating in a hike up to Coit Tower, which offered breathtaking views of the City by the Bay. Their adventures continued in the North Bay with a serene hike through Muir Woods, an exclusive behind-the-scenes tour of the Bay Aquarium in Monterey, and a fun sleepover at our Castro Campus in San Francisco.

One of the standout highlights was visiting Pixar Studios in Emeryville, where the group had the opportunity to meet the creators of "Inside Out 2." They shared the incredible amount of time and effort that goes into creating such a funny and heartwarming film, which the group then had the pleasure of watching together.

We look forward to continuing this enriching exchange program with more high school students in the coming years.
