- Welcome to GISSV
  The German International School of Silicon Valley is an independent, nonprofit preschool–grade 12 school with two locations in the San Francisco Bay Area.

Admissions
- Meeting Students’ Needs From Preschool Through High School
  GISSV welcomes students of all cultural and ethnic backgrounds. We serve students from two to eighteen years old.
- Enrollment
  The enrollment period begins during the months of January and February of each year for the upcoming school year. We also accept new students throughout the school year based on availability. Knowledge of the German language is required for all children who enroll after 1st grade (See also our German Fast Track Program).

Lange Nacht der Mathematik 2022

All our middle and high school students met on our campus in Mountain View for this year's Math Marathon.

The Lange Nacht der Mathematik is a competition 394 schools from Germany and around the world attended.

We had more than 100 students who stayed even until 11pm to compete in teams last Friday, November 18 - brainstorming highly challenging, exciting math problems in up to three rounds.

Congratulations to the teams reaching the 2nd and 3rd round and the students placing in the top 50 out of 5,817 groups (17,200 participants)!

Thank you to the Math Department and the many parent volunteers for making this amazing night of math happen!
