- Welcome to GISSV
  The German International School of Silicon Valley is an independent, nonprofit preschool–grade 12 school with two locations in the San Francisco Bay Area.

Admissions
- Meeting Students’ Needs From Preschool Through High School
  GISSV welcomes students of all cultural and ethnic backgrounds. We serve students from two to eighteen years old.
- Enrollment
  The enrollment period begins during the months of January and February of each year for the upcoming school year. We also accept new students throughout the school year based on availability. Knowledge of the German language is required for all children who enroll after 1st grade (See also our German Fast Track Program).

Middle School Orchestra Shines at MV Tree Lighting

GISSV students gave a festive preview at the City of Mountain View’s Tree Lighting ahead of the German Holiday Market.

On Monday, December 8, GISSV’s Middle School Orchestra delighted the community at the City of Mountain View’s Tree Lighting with a preview of their upcoming performance at this Saturday’s German Holiday Market.

Under the direction of M, GISSV students from preschool through high school will bring music and holiday cheer throughout the day on the Zollner stage at the Holiday Market. The performance lineup includes ensembles from across the school, showcasing the talent and creativity of the entire GISSV community.
