- Welcome to GISSV
  The German International School of Silicon Valley is an independent, nonprofit preschool–grade 12 school with two locations in the San Francisco Bay Area.

Admissions
- Meeting Students’ Needs From Preschool Through High School
  GISSV welcomes students of all cultural and ethnic backgrounds. We serve students from two to eighteen years old.
- Enrollment
  The enrollment period begins during the months of January and February of each year for the upcoming school year. We also accept new students throughout the school year based on availability. Knowledge of the German language is required for all children who enroll after 1st grade (See also our German Fast Track Program).

Middle School Pajama Party at SF Campus

Students from Grades 5–8 across both campuses celebrated a night of music, dancing, and fun at the Middle School Dance.

Our Middle Schoolers from Grades 5–8, from both San Francisco and Mountain View campuses, gathered on Friday, September 19, night for a pajama party to remember. With a DJ spinning lively tracks and plenty of snacks and pizza, the evening was filled with laughter, dancing, and good vibes.

A special highlight of the night was Ms. W’s 70s VW photo booth bus, which captured memorable moments and added to the excitement of the celebration.

We extend our heartfelt thanks to our dedicated teachers, staff, parents, and students. Their energy and support made the evening truly unforgettable.

On the way home, one of the buses experienced a longer-than-expected ride, and many students dozed off in their pajamas—a fitting end to a fun-filled night.
