GISSV is one of 4,513 German schools around the world participating in the junior election this year.
This week our History Department organized election days on both our campuses. GISSV's 6th to 12th grade students participated in a mock Junior Parliamentary Election (for the German Bundestag).
After counting, the school results are sent to the (German) Federal Agency for Civic Education, where the election results of the participating schools will be published by Sunday. We are excited to see the results!
*The "Juniorwahl" (junior election) - a project by Kumulus e.V. - is a participatory concept for political education in secondary schools and aims to enable the experience and learning of democracy by organizing realistic election simulations at school.
