- Welcome to GISSV
  The German International School of Silicon Valley is an independent, nonprofit preschool–grade 12 school with two locations in the San Francisco Bay Area.

Admissions
- Meeting Students’ Needs From Preschool Through High School
  GISSV welcomes students of all cultural and ethnic backgrounds. We serve students from two to eighteen years old.
- Enrollment
  The enrollment period begins during the months of January and February of each year for the upcoming school year. We also accept new students throughout the school year based on availability. Knowledge of the German language is required for all children who enroll after 1st grade (See also our German Fast Track Program).

MV Elementary Soccer Fest - Fußballfest

The first-ever Mini European Championships at Mountain View Elementary took place on Friday, June 14, coinciding with the start of the European Championship!

Eight enthusiastic teams, comprised of students from grades 1 to 4, competed fiercely for the title. Each team had players from every grade on the field, ensuring everyone participated and embraced the community spirit.

The semi-finals were thrilling, leading to an epic final showdown between GISSV teams "Germany" and "Switzerland." After an intense 3-3 draw, a 7m shoot-out determined the winner. Team "Germany" held their nerves and emerged victorious, earning the title of GISSV Mini-European Champions!

The excitement didn't end there—both our campuses came together to watch the opening game of the European Championship, celebrating this fantastic kickoff to the summer!
