Following in the footsteps of our San Francisco school community, our MV community recently relished a special screening generously sponsored by the Goethe Institut.
Last Friday, within the inviting ambiance of our multipurpose room during MV Movie Night, we treated our audience to another exceptional screening of the film "The Peppercorns and the Secret of the Deep Sea" ("Die Pfefferkörner und der Schatz der Tiefsee"). Tailored for children in grades 3 through 7 and beyond, this captivating film unfolds the investigative journey of Peppercorns Tarun and Alice. Together, they delve into the theft of top-secret documents detailing a groundbreaking solution to plastic pollution, exposing a network of toxic waste companies determined to suppress this crucial information. The entire evening was made possible through the generous sponsorship of the Goethe Institut.
The night proved to be a delightful experience, brimming with community togetherness, cinematic enjoyment, and a plot that sparked contemplation. Additionally, our Senior Class took the opportunity to sell popcorn and drinks, contributing to their fundraising efforts for the upcoming Abiturball. Your support for this endeavor is greatly appreciated.
A heartfelt thank you to all who joined us in making this evening a memorable one!
