- Welcome to GISSV
  The German International School of Silicon Valley is an independent, nonprofit preschool–grade 12 school with two locations in the San Francisco Bay Area.

Admissions
- Meeting Students’ Needs From Preschool Through High School
  GISSV welcomes students of all cultural and ethnic backgrounds. We serve students from two to eighteen years old.
- Enrollment
  The enrollment period begins during the months of January and February of each year for the upcoming school year. We also accept new students throughout the school year based on availability. Knowledge of the German language is required for all children who enroll after 1st grade (See also our German Fast Track Program).

Once is Not Enough - 2nd SF Outdoor Movie Night 2023/24

Last Friday, our San Francisco campus came alive with another exceptional Movie Night, generously sponsored by the Goethe-Institut San Francisco!

Our school community gathered under the stars, bringing chairs, blankets, snacks, and drinks to enjoy the Austrian-German family film "Neue Geschichten vom Franz." The movie captivated us all with its heartwarming storyline: Franz's summer holidays start off on a rough note as his two best friends stop talking to each other. But an adventurous chase of a neighborhood thief brings them back together, reminding us all of the power of friendship and adventure.
