Our community enjoyed a special screening sponsored by the Goethe Institut, offering a thought-provoking plot and fostering community togetherness.
Last Friday, at our SF Outdoor Movie Night in the schoolyard, we treated our GISSV community to a special screening of the film "The Peppercorns and the Secret of the Deep Sea" ("Die Pfefferkörner und der Schatz der Tiefsee"). This event was made possible through the generous sponsorship of the Goethe Institut. The movie follows the Peppercorns Tarun and Alice, who investigates the theft of top-secret documents related to a groundbreaking solution to plastic pollution. She uncovers a network of toxic waste companies determined to suppress the information.
Our attendees brought their camping chairs and blankets, creating a cozy and comfortable atmosphere for everyone. It was a delightful evening filled with community togetherness, cinematic enjoyment, and a thought-provoking plot.
The GISSV community will have another opportunity to watch the movie in December on the MV Campus, thanks to the Goethe Institut. For more information, please refer to the school's newsletter - the Brief.
Thank you to all who joined us!
