- Welcome to GISSV
  The German International School of Silicon Valley is an independent, nonprofit preschool–grade 12 school with two locations in the San Francisco Bay Area.

Admissions
- Meeting Students’ Needs From Preschool Through High School
  GISSV welcomes students of all cultural and ethnic backgrounds. We serve students from two to eighteen years old.
- Enrollment
  The enrollment period begins during the months of January and February of each year for the upcoming school year. We also accept new students throughout the school year based on availability. Knowledge of the German language is required for all children who enroll after 1st grade (See also our German Fast Track Program).

GISSV Interact Speech Contest

GISSV students competed in the first, school-based round of the annual Interact speech contest, hosted by the Los Altos Sunset Rotary.

On February 3, the Los Altos Sunset Rotary hosted the first round of its annual speech contest exclusively for members of the GISSV Interact Club. Four students delivered strong and thoughtful speeches, demonstrating confidence and public speaking skills.

Following the presentations, the jury awarded first prize to Haven E. (Grade 7). With this win, Haven advances to the next level, where she will compete against winners from other Bay Area Interact Clubs.

We thank Margarethe Pfeffer from Los Altos Sunset Rotary and Adriana R., Interact Club Co-President at GISSV, for their guidance and continued support.
