Spreading Holiday Cheer with the Family Giving Tree

Spreading Holiday Cheer with the Family Giving Tree

Our students and community came together to make the season brighter for Bay Area families in need, fulfilling 157 holiday wishes!

The GISSV community once again showed its spirit of generosity through the Family Giving Tree Wish Card Drive. Thanks to the combined efforts of families and students in Mountain View and San Francisco, an impressive 157 wishes were fulfilled for local families in need this holiday season.

A special thank you goes to the GISSV Interact Club, as well as Jenny Jungeblut and Lisa Kranzler for organizing this meaningful initiative. Their dedication made it possible for so many children and families to experience joy and hope during the holidays.

For those who would still like to contribute, the Family Giving Tree accepts monetary donations to help fulfill any remaining wishes.

In the final week before Christmas break, the Interact Club will volunteer at the Family Giving Tree warehouse in Sunnyvale, assisting with packaging gifts and organizing pick-ups — a hands-on way to spread even more holiday cheer.
