Student Achievements in Computer Science Competitions

In recent computer science competitions, GISSV students have showcased notable accomplishments. Congratulations!

Bundeswettbewerb Informatik (National Computer Science Competition, Germany):
Nils F., a 12th-grade student, secured a 2nd prize in the Bundeswettbewerb Informatik for the 2023/24 school year. This achievement is significant as he is the first GISSV student to attain such an accolade in this challenging competition. Advancing to the 2nd round, Nils joins a select group of 336 students nationwide in his grade, demonstrating outstanding programming skills at his age.

Jugendwettbewerb Informatik (Youth Computer Science Competition, Germany):
In the Jugendwettbewerb Informatik for the 2022/23 school year, a total of 208 students from grades 2 to 12 excelled in the first two rounds of the competition. This coding contest proved to be a challenge, yet GISSV students competed online and achieved notable success, with winners across all grade levels. Congratulations to all participants, particularly our young programmers, for their commendable performance.
