About
- Welcome to GISSV
  The German International School of Silicon Valley is an independent, nonprofit preschool–grade 12 school with two locations in the San Francisco Bay Area.

Admissions
- Meeting Students’ Needs From Preschool Through High School
  GISSV welcomes students of all cultural and ethnic backgrounds. We serve students from two to eighteen years old.
- Enrollment
  The enrollment period begins during the months of January and February of each year for the upcoming school year. We also accept new students throughout the school year based on availability. Knowledge of the German language is required for all children who enroll after 1st grade (See also our German Fast Track Program).

Student Workshop on Career Planning

On Monday, the all-day vocational and academic orientation workshop (Berufs-und Studienorientierungsworkshop) took place in classes 10a and 10b.

Students were provided with information on the various options and pathways after high school, both in the USA and in Germany/ Europe, through different modules. They engaged with their own visions, desires, and dreams for the future and acquired new strategies and methods for dealing with stressful situations. It was a highly informative day enjoyed by all participants, with students showing curiosity, keen interest, and enthusiasm throughout.

A big thank you to the dedication of Mrs. Heler, Mrs. Jungeblut, and Mrs. Schwadten for their contributions to this successful workshop.
