- Welcome to GISSV
  The German International School of Silicon Valley is an independent, nonprofit preschool–grade 12 school with two locations in the San Francisco Bay Area.

Admissions
- Meeting Students’ Needs From Preschool Through High School
  GISSV welcomes students of all cultural and ethnic backgrounds. We serve students from two to eighteen years old.
- Enrollment
  The enrollment period begins during the months of January and February of each year for the upcoming school year. We also accept new students throughout the school year based on availability. Knowledge of the German language is required for all children who enroll after 1st grade (See also our German Fast Track Program).

Student Workshops with Christoph Wagner and Joanne Kong

The renowned cellist and pianist captivated our students with an unforgettable workshop and performance.

Last week, we had the honor of welcoming prize-winning German cellist Christoph Wagner and the brilliant pianist Joanne Kong to our campuses for an unforgettable series of student workshops. While Christoph Wagner is currently on tour, he also serves as Assistant Professor of Cello at the University of New Mexico and is dedicated to sharing his passion for music through workshops. The duo delighted our students with a mesmerizing performance of Il bell’Antonio, Tema III by Giovanni Sollima, making it a truly special occasion. Throughout the workshops, our students showcased their own performances and received invaluable advice from Christoph, who took the time to answer all their questions, fostering a rich and engaging learning experience.
