- Welcome to GISSV
  The German International School of Silicon Valley is an independent, nonprofit preschool–grade 12 school with two locations in the San Francisco Bay Area.

Admissions
- Meeting Students’ Needs From Preschool Through High School
  GISSV welcomes students of all cultural and ethnic backgrounds. We serve students from two to eighteen years old.
- Enrollment
  The enrollment period begins during the months of January and February of each year for the upcoming school year. We also accept new students throughout the school year based on availability. Knowledge of the German language is required for all children who enroll after 1st grade (See also our German Fast Track Program).

Student Workshops with Frank Muschalle

Our students recently had the chance to explore the world of Boogie Woogie with the renowned pianist!

Recently, our 6th and 7th graders in San Francisco, and 7th graders in Mountain View, had the amazing opportunity to join a music workshop with renowned pianist Frank Muschalle!

Students dove into the rich history of Boogie Woogie, explored its unique rhythms, enjoyed live performances, and even jammed with Mr. Muschalle. Frank Muschalle, a Blues/Jazz & Boogie-Woogie star with 30 years of global tours, also took the stage at German Day in Golden Gate Park on Sunday!
